Completion requirements
Check that your are prepared to....
1) As you can see from the previous page, there is an awful lot of planning and project management involved in Silver. This includes lots of research, getting out and about, and interviewing artists, local providers, and educational opportunities, as well as reviewing.
2) Our course is online but the work of Arts Award at Silver level requires a large amount of real life interaction.
3) Your child will need to demonstrate leadership skills and be able to follow a structured course with very specific requirements for evidence.

4) The good news is that our course is highly structured and supportive. We tell you exactly what is needed and have provided a lot of supporting details and instructions. You will have a lot of reading to do as you work through the course in order to understand what is required at each stage.
5) This is a significant undertaking, both for the child and the parent supporting them, and you will have to dedicate a lot of time to reading through the course to understand what is needed.

6) At Silver level, there is an expectation that your child has settled on their preferred creative art choice or has narrowed it down. They would already be invested in this creative art; it would be something they are already practicing and committed to.
If this does not sound like you or you are new to Arts Award, please consider Discover, Explore, or Bronze.
7) Our course is online, and the project planning elements are also. You will need to feel comfortable with technology, uploading files, using Google Docs, and navigating through our site.

8)Your child can work at the standard of a Level 2 qualification (ie the same standard as a GCSE though please note AA Silver is not the same size as a GCSE and unlikely to be counted as one for college entry) Or you have previously completed Bronze Award with us.
9)Your child meets the minimum age requirement 14-25 years old and is resident in the UK.
All course providers for the Arts Award follow the same guidelines as required by Trinity and the activity outcomes will be the same for everyone.
